Poppy is a fictional character created to be the heart and soul of Letters from Poppy. She is the best friend that most of us need, offering support and encouragement when we need it the most.

All Letters from Poppy have been written by Founder and Head Writer Kat Musselwhite. You can learn more about me on my Who Writes the Letters from Poppy blog post.
No, Letters from Poppy are not handwritten. Each of my letters are printed using a high-quality font designed to look handwritten. This ensures consistency while maintaining a personal touch.
Using fonts, rather than handwriting, was a decision I made early into the process. It was important, for me, to find a font that resembled handwriting, so that it feels like you are really receiving a letter from a friend.
All letters are written by a human, and that is how it will always be, because humanity is at the very heart of what Letters from Poppy is all about.
Ordering and Customisation
Absolutely. I can change the recipients name as well as signing it from you, upon request and for no extra charge.
Please Note: I am only able to customise names. You will need to order a Bespoke Letter to add personal details, stories etc.
No. Letters cannot be edited (besides customising the Recipient and Sender names) to re-word or tweak any aspect.
If you would like to make changes, you can purchase a fully customised letter which will involve writing a letter that includes more personal details, anecdotes etc.
Of course. Either change the delivery address to that of the recipient, or let me know in the Notes section.
I can add a note to the interior of greeting cards only. Please make sure you add details to the Notes section when you place your order, or drop me an email to: kat@lettersfrompoppy.co.uk.
Shipping & Delivery
I aim to despatch orders within 2 working days.UK delivery typically takes 2-3 days.
For customised orders, the current turn around is two weeks from the date you provide all the information needed to write the letter.
Unfortunately, at present, due to various EU restrictions and US tariffs, I am not able to ship internationally.
Absolutely. I do not include pricing or paperwork int he orders, so unless you choose to customise the Sender name, the recipient will never know who sent them the letter.
This is a great way of surprising someone with a pick-me-up.
